Students were welcomed back to school on Day 1 of 2019 with numerous activities set up in the playground including putt putt golf, an art table for drawing and painting, sporting, maths and english challenges along with a huge maze. The ignition event was designed to inspire students to "Be The Best They've Ever Been in 2019" with a focus on improving their personal best. In addition the event generated a lot of purposeful talk when the students went into class and it also formed the basis of writing and goal setting tasks for the students. Parents, staff and students rated the first day of the 2019 school year as AMAZING!
