Congratulations to all our schools who entered the Catholic schools week video competition

Catholic Schools Week video competition

Over 70% of schools in the Diocese of Parramatta submitted entries in the Catholic Schools Week Video Competition 'what makes our Catholic Schools great?'

Six entries from the Parramatta Diocese were recognised with awards:
  • Nathan Taverniti from St Patrick's Marist College, Dundas - Group runner up
  • Krista Obmasca and Thomas Gerrie from St Margaret Mary's Primary School, Merrylands - Individual primary runners up
  • Jess Liu from St Patrick's Marist College, Dundas - Individual secondary runner up
  • Years 5 and 6 from Our Lady of the Angels, Rouse Hill - Voters choice winner
  • Jacob Camilleri from St Johns Primary, Riverstone - Voters choice special mention

Executive Director of Schools, Greg Whitby, said he was pleased that so many school groups and individuals took the time to imaginatively express their insights about what makes their school great.

'I was delighted to learn that a group video by students from Our Lady of the Angels Primary, Rouse Hill won the popular vote and the runner up was an individual entry by Jacob Camilleri from St John's Primary, Riverstone,' said Greg.

The videos are available online.
